community and with some new businesses. >> reporter: in other words, don't count georgetown out. in washington, beth parker, fox 5 news. >> people living in fairfax county are sounding off on a new multibillion redevelopment that will raise their taxes. the public meeting happened this afternoon and that is a 40- year, $3.1 billion establishment will raise taxes from 7 to 9 cranes. the move is expected to raise $353 million. a california father is taking neighborhood safety to a new level. and he put a sign in the front of the yard telling drivers to slow down. the sign caused a stir when it went up but seems that drivers are listening. >> and win the sign's out, i'm not speeding and i'm not here to hurt anyone. and that is to just have everyone slow down. many neighbors have rallied behind the sign and most think it's a good idea.

clouds. you see the deck across kentucky and into the atlantic, can you see another big deck of clouds. both of those are from hurricanes and we're going to give you a tour. and this is from hurricane paul. it's about 10-miles from making landfall in baja and has weakened a lot. probably a lot of rain there. more importantly, look at how it is stretching all the way into atlanta and tennessee. we may see some of the clouds ourselves tomorrow. if you see high, then clouds from the pacific, a little bit of rain across the houston area and we're watching saint louis tomorrow, by the way. game three could be close to showers and thunderstorms and an outlook for severe weather. and then this is our ninth atlantic hurricane of the season, and has wins of 85 miles an hour and that is going to the east of bermuda and luckily, it's on the weaker side and of it particular hurricane and we're expecting

descent winds out of it and some rain. and this is going to hustle away quickly. seventy degrees with a lot of sunshine and some high, thin clouds and they're from the hurricane in the pacific. thursday, 72 degrees and this is what is different. we have the showers yesterday on friday and we have to move them up. the chance for a shower or a thunderstorm for us now and that is on to thursday. friday looks better. today's temperature, 65 degrees and warming it up. the temperature right now, 62 degrees and in gaithersburg, 65; quantico, 64. overnight, chillier than last night with the clear skies and some winds that were blustery and they'll get light overnight.

someone ought to remind him it's just the preseason. he got caught up at the end of last night's game in brooklyn and had to be separated by bradley beale. price, a long island native, kept telling williams i'm home, i'm home. williams told reporters after the game that price had boys in -- boys in the crowd and wanted to impress them and he said it's my home now. the wizards lost the game, 98- 88, 1-3 in the preseason. last night, the nlcs cardinals and giants. the top of the third, david freeze. the grounder to short. marcus goodrow, second to one and the throw to first, not in time and in pain. he was taken out by matt holiday. sliding way past second base. all right, he gets even. the bottom 4th, bases loaded and the base hit to left fold,
